About Catalys Assessment

Catalys Assessment began development in 1999 when founders William Jamieson and Terry Schwarze identified the trend in Australian, and internationally, towards competency based training as an essential component of OH&S regulations and the need for online solutions in this arena.
The concept of an internet based training assessment and management system first came to fruition when safety audits exposed failings in organisations to maintain accurate training records as per OH&S requirements. Organisations were surveyed to ascertain what features, if possible, should be included in a training and assessment management system.
